Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 6-Word Declaration Will Have Milwaukee Bucks Fans Fired Up

Giannis Antetokounmpo is just as excited as Milwaukee Bucks fans are for the new season. Sunday’s preseason win over the Los Angeles Lakers gave the supporters a sneak peek at the Giannis-Damian Lillard duo for the first time, but the pair barely spent enough time on the floor to showcase what they can really do. Also, it’s the preseason so there’s that, too.

Be that as it may, Giannis decided to take to Twitter on Monday to express just how much he’s looking forward to getting this going this coming season. Surely, this will get Bucks fans even more fired up than they already are:

“The season can’t start soon enough,” Giannis wrote in his tweet.

The best part of this post is how Giannis used a photo of himself, Lillard, and Khris Middleton. We keep on hyping up the Giannis-Dame superstar duo that we tend to overlook Middleton and what he brings to the table for Milwaukee. Let’s not forget that the Bucks actually have a Big 3, and this is exactly what Antetokounmpo wants us all to take note of.

As you may have noticed, Middleton was in street clothes in the above photo. This is because the three-time All-Star was unable to join his two superstar teammates on the court on Sunday as they made their respective debuts.

Milwaukee fans will need to wait a bit longer for Middleton’s first appearance this season due to the fact that the 32-year-old is still recovering from offseason knee surgery. Middleton has indicated that he’s become annoyed with how slow the progress has been on his road to recovery, but at the same time, the veteran understands that this is just the process the team will need to take in order to make sure that there are no setbacks.

The Bucks return to action on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it remains to be seen if we will be treated to our first look at Milwaukee’s Big 3 in that one.
