The Milwaukee Bucks are playing on the first night of a back-to-back set on Thursday night as they face off against the Charlotte Hornets in a rematch of Tuesday’s astounding 123-85 blowout win at the Fiserv Forum. It’s the Bucks who travel to Charlotte this time around, with a matchup against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center scheduled for the following night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is still dealing with a lingering knee issue, which has the Bucks including him in the injury report again. With Milwaukee on a back-to-back set, the fans want to know: Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Hornets?
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Probable Vs. Hornets
The most important thing to note here is that Giannis’ injury does not seem to be serious. In fact, the former back-to-back MVP has been playing through this same right knee patellar tendinitis for several games now, with the issue extending to even before the All-Star break.
Officially, Antetokounmpo is listed as probable to play, which only means that he should be good to go on Thursday night. The back-to-back factor, however, adds a layer of doubt to what has been a relatively non-concerning injury.
Be that as it may, odds are the eight-time All-Star will be cleared to play as we come closer to tip-off. So, with regard to the question of is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight vs. the Hornets, the answer is that it’s very likely.
We will update this article as soon as we get final confirmation from the team.
