It has been a tumultuous past 24 hours for the Milwaukee Bucks. The sudden departure of Adrian Griffin, which was quickly followed by the hiring of Doc Rivers as the team’s new head coach certainly took the basketball world by storm.
On top of it all, the Bucks had to play some basketball on Wednesday night.
They responded excellently by carving out a much-needed win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, 126-116. This was thanks in large part to another magnificent performance by their talisman, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Goes Off Vs. Cavs

The Bucks needed to win this one after the Cavs embarrassed them the last time out. Giannis knew that there was a lot of pressure on him and his team to perform, and they did just that.
Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks with his seventh triple-double of the season. He finished with 35 points on 16-of-24 from the field, to go along with 18 rebounds, 10 assists, and two blocks in 35 minutes of action.
After the game, Giannis was asked what has fueled his recent tun. According to the former back-to-back MVP, he’s just trying to be himself:
“I’m just trying to have fun, trying to find my teammates,” he said. “Just being aggressive and trying to make the right play. Sometimes it results in having a triple-double but at the end of the day, I’m just trying to play the right way. Trying to play to win.”

Giannis was then quick to heap praise on his teammates. The Bucks shot 50.0% from the field on Wednesday night, which made it a lot easier for Antetokounmpo to showcase his playmaking abilities.
“It’s my teammates. My teammates are making shots. That’s why I was able to have a triple-double,” Giannis said.
"In times like this it's either you tear us apart or bring us together and I think it's going to bring us together."
