The Milwaukee Bucks needed an all-time performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday after seeing themselves down by as much as 26 points against the Portland Trail Blazers. It seemed like Milwaukee was headed to another embarrassing loss at the Fiserv Forum against a struggling Blazers side.

    Giannis, however, had other plans.

After logging a game-high 33 points on 11-of-21 from the field, with 16 rebounds, six assists, a steal, and three blocks in 39 minutes of play, Giannis sounded off on his team’s incredible come-from-behind win. The former back-to-back MVP took to Twitter to share his reaction to Milwaukee’s massive victory:

“I’m extremely proud of the group tonight. No matter if we face adversity we can come back and win the game. That’s a good habit we are building now,” Giannis wrote in his tweet.

Giannis and Co. exhibited their resilience yet again on Sunday. They could have very easily given up on this game and just chalked it off as another off night, especially considering how they have a marquee matchup against the Miami Heat coming up on Tuesday night.

That’s just not in Milwaukee’s DNA, though. This team has no quit in them, and this is exactly what they proved on Sunday.
