The Milwaukee Bucks were on the final game of this four-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings. Milwaukee did not have a good showing on the road on Tuesday when they lost handily to Sacramento by a final score of 129-94. With the loss, the Bucks went 1-3 on this road trip.
To no surprise, the only player that played in the game for the Bucks was Giannis Antetokounmpo. He scored 30 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, recorded four assists, and recorded one steal. Antetokounmpo recorded another double-double and had a very good night for fantasy basketball owners.
Damian Lillard was a disappointment against the Kings. He only scored 10 points. Lillard also grabbed five rebounds, recorded six assists, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal.
Khris Middleton is still sidelined with an injury and it will be interesting to see when he can return to game action. Milwaukee Bucks head coach after the game told Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after the game about the blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings by saying:
“It’s my fault. I didn’t get them prepared the way I should mentally“
It’s hard to win games on the road in the NBA. With the loss, the Bucks dropped to 42-24 on the season and they are still the number two seed in the Eastern Conference.
Sacramento Kings Have Five Players Score In Double Figures Against the Milwaukee Bucks
With the win for the Kings against the Bucks, they improve to 37-27 on the season. Sacramento is currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference and just a half-game back of the Phoenix Suns for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.
The Sacramento Kings had five different players score in double figures against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. De’Aaron Fox led the way once again for Sacramento with 29 points. He also grabbed six rebounds, recorded seven assists, blocked one shot, and recorded two steals.
Malik Monk scored 25 points off the bench for Sacramento. He also grabbed five rebounds and recorded five assists. Monk is one of the better players off the bench in the league.
Domantas Sabonis recorded another double-double for the Kings with 22 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, and one steal. He is one of the most underrated players in the NBA this season. Sabonis helped the Kings beat the Bucks for the first time in eight seasons.
It appears as if both the Sacramento Kings and the Milwaukee Bucks are playoff-caliber teams in the NBA. One of the higher seeds in the Western Conference could potentially be upset in the first round of the NBA playoffs if they face Sacramento because of how efficient they are offensively. As for Milwaukee, they need to get back home and get back to winning ways.
