Once again, the Milwaukee Bucks will be facing the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night. The game will be at 6 p.m. CT. The last meeting was in Milwaukee and the Bucks prevailed in overtime.
When they last met, the Bucks were struggling and trying to find themselves and the Pistons were showing signs of improvement. Entering this matchup, Milwaukee is 10-9 this season and Detroit is 9-13.
Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons Projected Starting Lineup On Tuesday Night
Ever since the Bucks started 2-8 this season, they have dug themselves out of a hole in the Eastern Conference Standings and are playing with confidence. The projected starting lineup for Doc Rivers’s squad on Tuesday night will be Brook Lopez, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tauren Prince, Andre Jackson, and Damian Lillard.
For now, Antetokounmpo is playing at an MVP level. He is doing whatever he can to propel the Bucks to victory on a night-to-night basis. Damian Lillard has continued to play well this season. One of the major problems for Milwaukee this season has been that Khris Middleton has yet to play because of injury.
As for the Detroit Pistons, J.B. Bickerstaff has done a good job of helping the Pistons show signs of improvement in his first season as head coach. The projected starting lineup for Detroit will be Jalen Duran, Tobias Harris, Tim Hardway, Jaden Ivey, and Cade Cunningham. This game has a chance to come down to the wire like the last meeting.
Antetokounmpo Last Five Games Stats
This season, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been tremendous for the Milwaukee Bucks. In his last five games, he has scored over 30 points four times, and two of those times, he scored 40 or more points. Antetokounmpo has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in his last four of five games.
As for assists, he has recorded six or more assists in four of those five games. If the Bucks are going to win again against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, Giannis Antetokounmpo needs to continue playing at an MVP level.
