Wisconsin basketball players will have a fresh look this Tuesday night when they host Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines at Kohl Center to open Big Ten play in the 2024-25 college hoops season.
It can be recalled that it was announced that the Badgers would debut a “By the Players” uniform this season, and will introduce the new threads in the game versus the Wolverines.

The University of Wisconsin, in partnership with Under Armour, will debut new men’s basketball alternate uniforms to be worn during the 2024-25 season.
For the UW men’s basketball program, this marks the fifth edition of the “By the Players” uniforms, which allows players on the team to work in collaboration with Under Armour to contribute to the design process.
Senior guards Kamari McGee and Max Klesmit worked with staff from Under Armour to help in the design process of this season’s look.
Wisconsin basketball looking to sustain hot start, stay undefeated
Ranked No. 11 on the Associated Press Poll, Wisconsin basketball is on an eight-game win streak to start the 2024-25 season. In their most recent outing, they battered the Chicago State Cougars at home last Saturday, 74-53. The Cougars were hardly the tough test Wisconsin was looking for to better gauge its strength, but the Wolverines could provide that for Greg Gard’s squad.
Although the Wolverines are no longer unblemished with a 6-1 overall record, that lone loss on Michigan’s record took place in a neutral location against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons way back on Nov. 10. Since then, Michigan has gone undefeated in five games, including a 78-53 takedown of the No. 22 Xavier Musketeers last Wednesday.
