The Milwaukee Bucks look to extend their six-game winning streak on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons for the Group Stage of the Emirates NBA Cup. Both teams have an undefeated record of 3-0 in the East Group B for the In-Season Tournament.
Aside from the Bucks’ regular season win streak, they have a ten-game win streak against the Pistons. Milwaukee has dominated Detroit over the games they’ve played against each other. In their previous 23 meetings, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his crew have won 22 times.

Milwaukee visited Detroit on Nov. 13 in their first game of the season and the Greek Freak dominated the game. The Pistons couldn’t find a way to slow down the All-Star forward who had 59 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. The opposing big man, Isaiah Stewart, tried to be physical with the two-time MVP but failed and was ejected from the game.
After their contest, Antetokounmpo addressed the physicality Stewart displayed on him.
“I’ve been in that position many times in my life,” Antetokounmpo said. “I have two older brothers that pushed me on the floor, be tough on me, especially Thanasis. I’ve been hit so many times so it doesn’t phase me any more. All I could think about was get up and try to make two free throws.”
“At the same time, that’s a dangerous play. That’s not a basketball play. And I think the referees did a great job making the right call.”

With a bit of history between the two ball clubs, their meeting on Tuesday could feature an intense battle.
The Bucks have gradually improved their season, following a 2-8 start in their first 10 games. Antetokounmpo averaged 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in the team’s resounding 124-114 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
“Now we’re going into our second year playing together, and our chemistry has been incredible so far… think we trust one another,” Giannis said about his chemistry with Damian Lillard.
How has Milwaukee Bucks star performed during their six-game winning streak?

Giannis has played in just five of the Milwaukee Bucks’ six-game winning run. The 6-foot-11 forward missed their game against the Miami Heat on Nov. 26 due to a left calf strain. However, Lillard’s 37-point effort helped the Bucks win 106-103, continuing their winning ways.
During their streak, Giannis has averaged 34.4 points, 11.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists on 61.5% shooting from the field. This included two 40-point games against the Chicago Bulls and the Wizards.
The Milwaukee Bucks have relied heavily on the on-court brilliance of Antetokounmpo. With his current play, the team have climbed the Eastern Conference standings and are currently the fifth seed.
