The Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to sack Adrian Griffin after coaching the team for 43 games this season has garnered a lot of reactions from different personalities. These include Magic Johnson, Gilbert Arenas, Jamal Crawford, Shaquille O’Neal, and Frank Vogel.
Interestingly enough, some see this move as a scary one for head coaches in the NBA, with Jason Kidd echoing this thought. Crawford, for his part, wondered how a head coach who possesses a winning record could have lost his job like Griffin did.
Whatever the reasons may be, the Bucks have now moved on by hiring Doc Rivers to replace Griffin as the team’s head coach. The following weeks will see how the one-time Coach of the Year will use his expertise in handling the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard this season.
Frank Vogel Reveals His Frustration Over The Milwaukee Bucks’ Decision To Fire Adrian Griffin
Among those who have shared their thoughts on the matter is Frank Vogel, former head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Back in 2022, the Lakers moved on from Vogel after the team finished 11th in the Western Conference and missed the playoffs that season. This development occurred, even with the former Indiana Pacers head coach guiding the team to a championship in 2020.
As it stands, the current head coach of the Phoenix Suns is seeing shades of what happened to him in how the Milwaukee Bucks have handled Griffin. Now, the team has chosen Doc Rivers as the new head coach, and their best hope to make the most of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard’s partnership on the court.
Nevertheless, Vogel’s thoughts on the matter seem to echo to most coaches in the league. It remains to be seen whether the Bucks made the right move here or not.
