It took the Milwaukee Bucks a few days before they finally announced Doc Rivers as the team’s new head coach. Multiple reports had already confirmed that Rivers had struck a deal with his new team, but it wasn’t until Friday that the team made it official.
Rivers wasn’t at the bench on Saturday as the Bucks took down the New Orleans Pelicans, 141-117. They are in action again on Monday in a marquee matchup against the Denver Nuggets, which is why at this point, the fans want to know: Will Doc Rivers make his Milwaukee Bucks coaching debut tonight vs. the Nuggets?
Doc Rivers’ Milwaukee Bucks Debut Date, Revealed

The good news for Bucks fans is that they won’t need to wait very long before they get to see their new coach on the sidelines. As first reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Rivers is expected to coach his first game for Milwaukee on Monday against Denver:

This is a crucial game for the Bucks not only because they face off against Nikola Jokic and the defending champs but also because this contest kicks off Milwaukee’s upcoming five-game Western Conference road trip.
On a personal note, there are few other ways for Rivers to mark his coaching debut with his new team than by securing a marquee win over the champions on their home floor.
So, with regard to the question of, will Doc Rivers make his Milwaukee Bucks coaching debut tonight vs. the Nuggets? The answer is yes.
