Sunday’s bout between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Houston Rockets ended with a bit of controversy. With Milwaukee holding a seemingly insurmountable lead with less than a minute remaining in the game, Rockets forward Dillon Brooks got himself ejected from the contest after arguing with the game official.
It wasn’t your typical ejection, though, with the enigmatic veteran now being slapped with a heft fine by the NBA for his antics.
Dillon Brooks’ NSFW Tirade During Milwaukee Bucks Game
If you know Dillon Brooks, then you are well aware of the fact that this is not his first rodeo. As such, you might even argue that being fined a whopping $35,000 is pretty much a typical day at the office for the 27-year-old. It’s not as if he gets ejected and/or fined every single game, but the fact of the matter is that this man is never far away from controversy.
This was exactly the case on Sunday night when Brooks started complaining to a game official about a flopping violation. The Rockets stud clearly did not agree with the ref, which prompted a heated tirade from the outspoken swingman. It did not take long before the official tossed him from the game.
The audio from Brooks’ tirade has been leaked and there’s absolutely no denying that he used NSFW language against the ref during a profanity-laced rant:

Brooks Slapped With Hefty Fine
After hearing what Brooks had to say to the ref, you can’t really blame the NBA for acting swiftly on this matter. This comes in the form of a $35,000 fine for “directing inappropriate language toward a game official and publicly criticizing the officiating,” per an official statement from NBA Communications.
I guess the only silver lining here for the Rockets is that Brooks won’t be suspended for his actions.
