The Detroit Pistons face a tough test against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. Detroit has won only two out of their eight games so far this season as they head to the Fiserv Forum to take on the 4-2 Bucks.
The Pistons are currently dealing with a slew of injuries to a number of their key players, which has prompted the front office to make a significant decision ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Milwaukee.
Detroit Pistons Sign Kevin Knox

According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Pistons are reuniting with former No. 9 overall pick Kevin Knox:
“Free agent forward Kevin Knox has agreed to a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Knox returns to Detroit, where he played 42 games a season ago,” Shams reported.
Knox played the first half of 2022-23 in Detroit before the team traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers at the deadline as part of a four-team deal that saw former Golden State Warriors lottery pick James Wiseman head on over to Detroit.
The Blazers, however, opted to waive Knox’s services a few weeks ago, which has now opened the door for the 24-year-old to return to Detroit.
In 42 games played for the Pistons last term, the 6-foot-7 wing averaged 5.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 14.1 minutes off the bench.
Pistons Shorthanded Vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Knox isn’t expected to suit up for the Pistons on Wednesday in their matchup against the Bucks. However, he should be able to alleviate some of the team’s injury woes early on in the season.
According to reports, Detroit will be without six players when they take on Milwaukee on Wednesday:
#Pistons have 6 players out tonight:
* Bojan Bogdanovic
* Alec Burks
* Joe Harris
* Jaden Ivey
* Monte Morris
* Isaiah LiversJalen Duren is questionable to go.

Facing off against the Bucks at full strength is a tough matchup for the Pistons in itself, but for them to be this shorthanded obviously poses a much bigger challenge for a struggling Detroit squad.
