The Milwaukee Bucks have been making moves. After bringing in Patrick Beverley just before the NBA trade deadline, they are now signing another veteran to the squad with the sole objective of winning it all this season.
According to multiple reports, the Bucks are finalizing a deal with sharpshooting swingman Danilo Gallinari, who recently hit free agency after being waived by the Detroit Pistons.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans React to Danilo Gallinari Signing
Gallinari is no superstar, but this man could be integral to Milwaukee’s success this season. The 35-year-old may no longer be the deadly scorer he once was (he averaged 19.8 points per game during his prime), but there’s no denying that he’s still a legitimate threat from deep.
Gallinari is coming off an ACL injury that forced him to sit out the entirety of the 2022-23 season, and he has since struggled to find his form this season with the Washington Wizards and the Pistons (he was traded to Detroit this January).
The Bucks are hoping, however, that Gallinari is able to find his shot again now that he’s in Milwaukee, thereby providing the team with another player who can stretch the floor for them.
For the most part, more than a few Bucks fans were pretty excited with this news:
