The Milwaukee Bucks currently have one roster spot open after making a couple of moves during the NBA trade deadline. That spot won’t be open for very long with reports now emerging that the Bucks are on the verge of signing veteran small forward Danilo Gallinari from free agency.
REPORT: Milwaukee Bucks Adding Danilo Gallinari
According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Bucks are now “finalizing a deal” with the 35-year-old vet:

As Charania’s report indicates, the Bucks were not the only squad that wanted Gallinari on board. Milwaukee fans, however, will be glad to know that their team was able to beat out all other interested parties for the former No. 6 overall pick.
It was actually Patrick Beverley who first broke the news about the Bucks’ interest in Gallinari. The newly-recruited Milwaukee combo guard has been exploring new career paths of late as he takes on the role of being a plugged-in NBA insider.
As for Gallinari, the Italian national hit free agency earlier this month after being waived by the Detroit Pistons. He joined the Pistons in January after being traded by the Washington Wizards for Marvin Bagley.
In 32 games played this term between the Wizards and the Pistons, Gallinari has averaged 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 14.8 minutes per game, while also knocking down 0.8 triples on a 35.5 percent clip.
