Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard entered Sunday’s game against the Utah Jazz with a questionable tag due to an ankle injury. The 33-year-old played through the issue, but it appears that he suffered some sort of tweak on the same foot as the Bucks fell to the Jazz, 123-108.
This has now put Lillard’s status for Tuesday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns in jeopardy.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Damian Lillard Questionable Vs. Suns
The Bucks play their third game in four days on Tuesday night in Phoenix. According to the official injury report, Lillard is considered questionable to play against the Suns due to a left ankle sprain.
This was Dame’s exact same designation heading into Sunday’s game but as mentioned previously, he was able to play through the injury.
At one point in the loss to the Jazz, however, Lillard landed awkwardly and it looked like he may have aggravated the injury:

Doc Rivers Weighs In
Speaking to reporters after the game, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers admitted that he may have played Lillard much more than he would have liked against the Jazz:
“We think he’s OK, but he was struggling all game with the ankle. I swear there were times I was just gonna take him out. Even in the first half, but his presence was helpful. We didn’t have a lot of bodies,” Rivers said, via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
That’s not very encouraging.
We will be monitoring Lillard’s status closely heading into the Suns game and we will be providing updates when they come.
