Damian Lillard Makes Incredible Milwaukee Bucks Franchise History in Dominant Win Vs. Suns

No Giannis Antetokounmpo, no problem. This is all because the Milwaukee Bucks have Damian Lillard to thank for his incredible performance on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns. Thanks to Dame’s heroics, the Bucks were able to secure a crucial 140-129 victory against Kevin Durant and Co. at the Fiserv Forum.

Lillard absolutely went off on Sunday, finishing with a game-high 31 points on 10-of-19 shooting. He also logged five rebounds, 16 assists, a steal, and four triples in 39 minutes of action. Dame’s dizzying numbers were unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the storied franchise history of the Bucks:

The fact that no other player in a Bucks uniform has ever reached these heights in the past simply speaks volumes of how amazing Lillard was on Sunday. He not only scored at will against a formidable Phoenix defense, but he also made sure to get his teammates involved by matching his career-high in assists.

Giannis does not seem to be dealing with a significant injury, but at this point, his status for Wednesday’s marquee matchup against the Boston Celtics remains up in the air. However, with Lillard playing like this, Milwaukee will always have a chance against the mighty Celtics.
