The Milwaukee Bucks face their biggest test of the season thus far on Wednesday when they battle the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. This will be a bout between two of the heavy favorites in the Eastern Conference and you can be sure that both teams will go all out in this marquee matchup.
Damian Lillard on Milwaukee Bucks’ Injury Report
The official injury report for this highly-anticipated matchup is out, and Bucks fans may have a bit of cause for concern. This is after superstar point guard Damian Lillard popped up on the injury report due to a left oblique strain.
The good news here is that Lillard has been tagged as probable to play, which likely means that he will be in the lineup against Boston.
This is the first we’ve heard of this injury and it does not sound too serious. Dame looked fine in Milwaukee’s last outing as he dropped 22 points and seven assists in a win against the Washington Wizards on Monday.
An underlying storyline in this contest is Lillard potentially matching up against Jrue Holiday, who happens to be the same player the Bucks gave up in order to acquire Dame’s services from the Portland Trail Blazers.
In other injury news, MarJon Beauchamp has been upgraded to probable for Milwaukee after missing the last three games due to a right ankle sprain. It now appears that the Bucks have a good chance of being at full strength on Wednesday night.
