Milwaukee Bucks forward MarJon Beauchamp is unavailable for Monday’s clash against the Washington Wizards. This is the 23-year-old third straight game on the sidelines as he continues to deal with an ankle injury.
Beauchamp appears to be closing in his return to the court, though, and the second-year swingman took a significant step toward the same right before the Wizards game on Monday.

Beauchamp did not only join his team for their road game in Washington on Monday. He took it a step further by getting on the court pregame to get some work in:

That ankle looked fine as Beauchamp put up a few shots on the court. If you didn’t know any better, it looked like the 6-foot-6 forward was going through his usual pre-game routine.
The Bucks haven’t provided much details on Beauchamp’s injury other than it being a right ankle sprain. However, based on what we’ve seen from the young man on the court, it appears that he is closing in on his return to action.
Beauchamp’s next chance to play will be on Wednesday when the Bucks head to Bean Town for a marquee matchup against the Boston Celtics.
