    Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard will be making his preseason debut on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, head coach Adrian Griffin Jr. told Malika Andrews on NBA Today on Wednesday. This is a great sign for the Bucks that he will get reps alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo as well before the 2023-2024 begins.

    It is important for them to play because this is the first time they are playing together in real game action. Yes, there is always a concern about players getting injured during preseason games, but this is the one time that head coach AJ Griffin Jr. is correct.

    Fans will be excited to see how well Lillard is going to play on Sunday against the Lakers and the Bucks. It will also be interesting to see how many minutes he is going to play in as well in the contest. This will also be the first game that he will get to play alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo on the same NBA team.

    Hopefully, it is a glimpse of what is to come in the future for this franchise. Damian Lillard is one of the best players in the NBA. It is better to get the rust out of the way in the NBA preseason rather than the first couple of games of the 2023-2024 NBA regular season.

    It is also going to take a few games into the 2023-2024 NBA regular season to get acclimated to one another. Will this be the only preseason game that Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo play in together? It remains to be seen because letโ€™s see how the first preseason games goes against the Los Angeles Lakers.
