Milwaukee Bucks news: Emotions were running high inside the Moda Center on Wednesday night as the home crowd anticipated the return of former cornerstone superstar Damian Lillard. This was the first time Dame returned since the Portland Trail Blazers traded him in the offseason in what turned out to be a landscape-shifting deal.
You just knew that the Portland faithful was going to give Dame a huge reception the moment he stepped on the court, and boy did the fans deliver as promised.
Blazers Fans Welcome Back Milwaukee Bucks Star Damian Lillard
As expected, the entire arena got on their feet the moment Lillard was introduced as part of the Bucks starting lineup. He may no longer be repping the Blazers, but the home crowd made it abundantly clear how much love and adoration they still have for their ex-cornerstone superstar:

What a moment.
Dame himself could not help but get emotional. He said before the game that he wasn’t going to cry but it looked like he came close to shedding a tear here.
There is, however, still a game that needs to be played tonight. Despite the fact that the Blazers fans gave Lillard an epic welcome, you can still be sure that the eight-time All-Star point guard will still do everything he can to defeat his former team.
Portland isn’t expecting anything less.
