Milwaukee Bucks fans are all too familiar with Bobby Portis. On Wednesday night, the 28-year-old was back with his usual antics yet again as he brought a whole lot of fire off the bench against the Detroit Pistons.
Portis needed just 10 minutes of action in the first half to come out with another explosion for the second unit. Unsurprisingly, the 6-foot-10 big man set Twitter ablaze — again — with his opening-half heroics for the Bucks.

Portis looked like a man possessed in the second quarter of Wednesday’s contest. He scored 11 out of his 16 points in a scorching-hot stretch in the second frame, which as expected, had the home crowd all fired up:

Detroit had to call a timeout after watching Portis catch fire. He went 6-of-10 on his shots for a total of 16 points, three rebounds, and a three-pointer in just 10 minutes of action.
Portis did not only end the half as the top scorer in the game, but he’d already matched his season-high scoring mark after just two quarters of play
Talk about making a massive impact.

The Bucks will be hoping that Portis is able to keep that same fire going in the second half. They entered halftime with a 62-52 lead over a shorthanded Pistons side, so it’s going to be all about taking care of that advantage in the second half.
