The Milwaukee Bucks come back from the weekend off to travel to the Big Apple to take on the Brooklyn Nets, coming out on top with a 129-125 victory on Monday night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Led Milwaukee Bucks with 36 Points
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 26 points and 12 rebounds to help lead the Bucks to victory, Damian Lillard added 21 points, and Jae Crowder had 15. With their first road victory, the Bucks improve their record to 4-2. Antetokounmpo entered Monday’s game with more points against Brooklyn than any other opponent at 817.
Antetokounmpo said after the game that he was just trying to enjoy the moment and be aggressive.

Khris Middleton was able to get more minutes in, playing 21 minutes against the Nets, going 6-for-10 for 15 points on the night.
For the sixth straight game, the Nets were without Nic Claxton and Cam Johnson.
The Nets’ leading scorer was Cam Thomas with 45 points in his fourth 30-point game of the season, Mikal Bridges had 31 points on 12-for-21 shooting, and Lonnie Walker IV added 19 on 8-of-14 shooting off the bench. Brooklyn is 3-4 overall and 0-3 at home.
Going into the half, the Milwaukee Bucks opened the second quarter by making 10 of their 12 shots to build an eight-point advantage and bring their lead to 58-50. But the Nets would go on a 17-5 run to bring their lead to 67-63 heading into the break. Thomas had 20 points on 14 shots and Antetokounmpo had 17.
Brooklyn was able to start out the game, taking a 32-29 lead after the first, Bridges helping by scoring 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting. Antetokounmpo was able to score 12 for Milwaukee, but started the game 1-for-10 from behind the three-point range.
With five minutes left in the game, the Nets were leading 115-112, but Milwaukee would come back and score 17 points, Antetokounmpo coming up big with nine points and two crucial blocks in the game’s final minutes. The last 23 seconds saw six free throws from the Bucks, Lillard shooting 3-for-4 and Crowder going 1-for-2.
