The Brooklyn Nets are going to be shorthanded on Monday night when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at the Barclays Center. The Nets are currently dealing with a handful of injuries to certain key players, which could have a significant impact on their chances against a new-look Bucks side.
Nets Missing Several Players

According to the official injury report, the Nets will be without at least two key players on Monday night.
Starting center Nic Claxton is still dealing with a sprained left ankle. The 6-foot-11 big man suited up for Brooklyn’s season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but has been sidelined for the team’s last five contests. He will miss at least one more game now that he’s been ruled out for Monday’s clash against the Bucks.
Similarly, Cameron Johnson won’t be available for Brooklyn as well. He too played in Brooklyn’s first game of the season, but has since missed five straight games due to a left calf strain. Johnson has already been ruled out for Monday as well.
Finally, summer recruit Lonnie Walker IV is dealing with a sore left knee. The good news for Brooklyn is that he’s probable to play against the Bucks. After missing Brooklyn’s opening-night loss to the Cavs, Walker has started at the two-spot in the Nets’ last five contests.
Milwaukee Bucks Have Clean Slate

The Bucks, on the other hand, have a clean bill of health for Monday’s contest. Khris Middleton appears poised to continue his ramp-up as he works his way back to full strength. The three-time All-Star underwent surgery in his left knee during the offseason and he’s still on his road to recovery.
Milwaukee head coach Adrian Griffin said on Sunday that everyone practiced and that everyone is good to go tomorrow:
