The Milwaukee Brewers are off to a rip-roaring start to the 2024 season. Through their first 10 games they have gone 7-3. This puts them one game behind the 9-3 Pittsburgh Pirates.

This year Milwaukee is getting hits at opportune times. Per Baseball Reference they have a .362 batting average with runners in scoring position. This is through an 111 plate appearance sample size in which they have 34 hits, 12 extra base hits, 12 walks, and just 21 strike outs. Taking this a step further when when their are two outs and runners in scoring position they are hitting .318 across 46 plate appearances.
During their last three games they have scored eight or more runs.
The Brewers have put up eight or more runs in each of their last three contests. They defeated the Seattle Mariners on Sunday by a score of 12-4, lost the series opener against the Cincinnati Reds 10-8, and then won Tuesdays game by a score of 9-5. The last time the Brewers scored eight or more runs in three straight games was at the start of last since between April 2 and April 4.
As the season goes the Brewers offensive statistics will start to come back down to Earth, but it is worth noting that in regard to runners in scoring position they finished eighth best a season ago with a .269 batting average. The Atlanta Braves had the best batting average at .287.
