The Milwaukee Brewers announced a few days ago that stud up and coming pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski was being temporarily shut down with arm fatigue. Their second round pick in the 2022 MLB draft had worked his way up to Double-A and had accumulated a ton of strikeouts along the way. His injury diagnosis of “arm fatigue” has now received a massive update thanks to MLB Insider from Fansided Robert Murray.

Robert Murray provides an injury update on Milwaukee Brewers top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski.
On The Baseball Insiders podcast Robert Murray had a segment dedicated to updating fans as to the latest news on Jacob Misiorowski’s injury. He states that multiple sources have indicated that scans have been done with reassuring results and that he also has thrown a bullpen session since being shutdown in which he had upper 90s velocity. All of this leads to the Brewers being very optimistic about his prognosis.
Another thing mentioned by Robert Murray is the possibility of Misiorowski pitching in the big leagues this year. Prior to his temporary shutdown he had reported that he had a chance of receiving a big league call up. With this development of arm fatigue a MLB promotion has not been ruled out, but rather is less likely for the long term health of his arm is highly valued by the Brewers.
Jacob Misiorowski could be a major weapon for Milwaukee to use in their bullpen. They may also get Aaron Ashby back and could consider adding Robert Gasser as well.
