The Milwaukee Brewers farm system has been steadily improving over the past few seasons.  Prior to the start of 2021, MLB Pipeline had them ranked 28th out of 30 teams.  Last season they began the year ranked 25th.  This year, they are in the middle of the pack at 15th.

The Milwaukee Brewers farm system is ranked 15th to begin the 2023 season.

Of the Brewers top prospects, they have three that are ranked inside of MLB Pipeline’s top 100.  Those prospects are Jackson Chourio (No.8), Sal Frelick (No. 30), and Joey Wiemer (No.90).  These three players obviously compose Milwaukee’s top three prospects.

Outside of these three, outfielder Garrett Mitchell and utility player Brice Turang make up the fourth and fifth ranked prospects.  Both of these players are members of the 40-man roster and could graduate out of prospect status at some point during the 2023 season.

This is quite the group of home grown talent that is nearing Major League playing time for the Brewers.  To recognize this next wave of players, Milwaukee has been releasing a series of videos that allows fans to get a further look at their stories, work ethic, and personal life.

Outside of the top five, catcher Jefferson Quero is a quickly rising prospect.  Position players Tyler Black and Robert Moore are two young talented hitters to know and pitchers Jacob Misiorowski, Robert Gasser, Carlos Rodriguez, and Abner Uribe are all intriguing players.  A complete list of the top 30 can be found here.
