The Milwaukee Brewers are a hot baseball team right now and on one of American Family Field’s warmest days they got a lift from rookie Brice Turang as he hit a walk-off infield single to complete a series sweep against the Minnesota Twins.

Wednesday afternoon was as slug fest between the Twins and Brewers as six total home runs were hit and the final score was Milwaukee eight and the Twins seven. The game went into extra innings and a Ryan Jeffers infield base hit, in which he crawled to first base after falling down, initially gave the Twins the lead.
In the bottom of the 10th Minnesota rolled out Jhoan Duran for a second consecutive inning. Willy Adames immediately hit a game tying single and advanced to second base on an error. Andrew Monasterio then moved him over to third base and Brice Turang came up to bat with two outs in the inning and the game winning run 90 feet away.
On the sixth pitch of the at-bat Turang chopped a ball down the third base line and beat the throw to first base. This infield hit resulted in his first career walk-off and he was showered with Gatorade afterwards.
This victory extended the Brewers winning streak to five games. They have swept back-to-back first place American League teams and will take on the San Diego Padres next.
