Following the unanimous decision by the Brewers and Reds players to boycott last night’s game in protest of the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, the two teams will play the first ever double header at Miller Park. Ever since the season resumed, the Brewers have made Justice, Equality, Now their team slogan. They backed up their words with action last night with the support of the Reds organization. Due to the shortened season, MLB did not want to cancel the game altogether, so a double header was schedule for today.
Double Header: Game One
The first game of today’s match ups will start at approximately 4:10 PM. The Brewers will send Adrian Houser to the mound against Reds starter Sonny Gray. Houser is 1-2 with a 3.72 ERA on the season while Gray is 4-1 with a 2.21 ERA. The Brewers will be looking to continue their winning streak, as they won the first two games of the four-game series against the Reds. The Brewers’ lineup for Game One of the double header has been released as such:
