The Green Bay Packers entered the 2023 off-season with a plethora of free agents to address.  Specifically, they had 14 unrestricted free agents going into 2023.  A number of free agents have already signed with new teams.  Dean Lowry went to Minnesota, Allen Lazard signed with the New York Jets, and Robert Tonyan chose to play for the Chicago Bears.  Today, they lost another one, and this time it was to an NFC rival.

    Per Field Yates:

The Cardinals have signed former Packers LB Krys Barnes to a one-year contract.
Krys Barnes spent the first three seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers.  During that time he started 24 games, recorded 190 tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 pass deflections.  Barnes was often called upon when injuries occurred.  He missed most of the 2022 season due to injury, only playing in six games.
Krys Barnes was an un-drafted rookie in 2020 and was not expected to make the roster initially. Not only did he make the roster but was activated on game day for week one against the Minnesota Vikings.  Barnes should get plenty of opportunities to play significant time in Arizona.  He joins a linebacker group consisting of Isaiah Simmons, Zaven Collins, and Dennis Gardeck.
