Green Bay Packers fans are reeling after Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending injury. The last thing Packers fans (or Jets fans) anticipated was Rodgers tearing his Achilles just four offensive plays into the season. The Jets have already begun their search for another quarterback to place on the roster behind Zach Wilson.
When an athlete goes down with a major injury, the support they typically receive is overwhelming. We have seen it time and time again, and it was no different with Rodgers. He took to social media today to express is gratitude and seemed to indicate his career isn’t over.

Fans sure seem convinced this isn’t the last we have seen of Aaron Rodgers, however, it won’t be easy to come back. It took Kevin Durant 552 days to full recover from his torn Achilles. Richard Sherman missed nearly an entire NFL season and an entire off-season to fully recover. Every athlete is different but the road won’t be an easy one Rodgers.
