The Green Bay Packers lost Quay Walker to injury during their brutal 17-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
At the end of the second quarter, ESPN television cameras captured Walker running off the field and into the blue medical tent on the Packers’ sideline so that the medical staff could examine his injury. He did not return to the game. Today the Packers got a big update on Walker going forward.
The Green Bay Packers Believe Quay Walker Avoided Any Serious Injury In Loss To The Las Vegas Raiders
Per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky:
Sounds like Quay Walker (knee) and Darnell Savage (calf) avoided serious injuries last night in Las Vegas. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said they could potentially be back for the Denver game after this week’s bye.
Walker recorded four tackles and one tackle for loss before he exited the game.
Walker is turning into a key piece for the Packers’ defense. His ability to play sideline to sideline is on full display week after week.
