The Green Bay Packers have had an interesting relationship with Pat McAfee over the last few years. Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays had thousands of Packers fans tuning in every week to see what the four-time MVP had to say. Often times the conversations were lighthearted and fun. However, the moment Rodgers made it clear he was leaving Green Bay, the tone with The Pat McAfee Show seemed to change.
Over the last few months Packers fans have seemed to turn on McAfee. At the same time, McAfee has seemed to change his opinion of the Packers. If it wasn’t obvious before, it became obvious during McAfee’s childish comments on his show this week.
Pat McAfee Gets Downright Childish Toward The Green Bay Packer In Latest Outburst
There was a split in opinion regarding Aaron Rodgers’ trade offseason drama. Which team held the leverage, the Green Bay Packers or the New York Jets?
It was not unusual for McAfee to defend Rodgers, however, this time he also praised Jets general manager Joe Douglas.
“The Jets make use of their picks. The Jets are good drafters,” McAfee told NFL insider Ian Rapoport on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ in March.
McAfee also had some harsh words for Packers GM Brian Gutekunst.
“Who’s the smart person?” said McAfee. “Oh, Gutekunst? We’re just automatically assuming he’s a smart person?”
He then doubled down after Rapoport defended Gutekunst.
“Oh yeah, there have never been sh-tty f–king general managers,” said McAfee.

It’s Safe To Say That Gutekunst Isn’t A “Sh-tty” General Manager
Gutekunst is looking pretty sharp at the moment. Jordan Love’s three-year development is paying off thanks to the decision to draft him and allow him to develop. During the past four weeks, Love has thrown for 1,107 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has shown the potential to be a franchise quarterback.
It is already obvious that Luke Musgrave will play a major role on offense. Lukas Van Ness has the potential to be a starter in the future. Tucker Kraft has made a significant impact. There is no doubt that seventh-rounders Carrington Valentine and Anthony Johnson Jr. have been drafted well.
In the second round, Gutekunst traded down twice, securing Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, and Karl Brooks, arguably the Packers’ three best rookies.
With six weeks remaining in the season, Jets rookies have played a total of 678 snaps together. Jayden Reed and Lukas Van Ness have played more than the entire rookie class of New York.

Well, he’s always been a complete pinhead. Always wondered why a (somewhat) smart guy like Rodgers ever became pals with him.
