The Green Bay Packers face difficult decisions every year when it comes to their players entering free agency. Some players wish to remain with the team, while others want to leave. An offensive player has expressed a desire to stay with the Packers but understands that his future is uncertain. He even became emotional while discussing his situation.
Green Bay Packers Players Holds Back Tears
Packers’ offensive guard Jon Runyan will become a free agent soon. He played well during the meaningful snaps he took in 2023. When asked about his future with the team in the locker room, Runyan held back tears.

The Packers drafted Runyan in 2020 in the 6th Round. He played 928 snaps and only allowed two sacks this season. Runyan is also the son of Jon Runyan Sr who is a former NFL player, politician, and is currently NFL Compliance Officer for all on-field player accountability.
