Packers Offense in Week 1
The Packers may rely on the running game in Chicago. Of course, they will throw pass plays in to get timing down with the new receivers. Jordan Love will have to be on point in the passing game, just in case the run does not work. Green Bay’s offensive line has to do the job in run blocking, and in pass protection for their new starting quarterback. Scoring points will be critical to the offense’s production on the road in a hostile environment.
What Romeo Doubs Brings To The Packers Offense
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs brings a threat to opposing defenses with his pass-catching ability. He is good in short yardage situations or even down the field. Doubs did practice on Thursday and Friday, despite a hamstring injury suffered during their second preseason game. He caught four passes for 73 yards, and one touchdown in the first two preseason contests.
As a rookie, he caught 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns in 2021. Christian Watson will also be unavailable to play, so the young guys will have to step up in his absence as well.
The Green Bay Packers face the Chicago Bears at 4:25pm ET on Fox!
