Green Bay Packers fans were paying attention to running back Blake Corum’s performance in the Rose Bowl between the Michigan Wolverines and the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff Semifinals. Corum had the game-winning 17-yard touchdown in overtime for Michigan over Alabama in a 27-20 to help them advance to the National Championship Game.
They will face the Washington Huskies after they defeated the Texas Longhorns 37-31 in the All-State Sugar Bowl. In the game against Alabama, Blake Corum rushed for 83 yards on 19 carries and one touchdown, along with 4.4 yards per carry. He also caught two passes for 35 yards receiving and a score, with averaging 17.5 yards per reception.
On the year for Michigan, Corum has rushed for 1,111 yards on 237 carries and 25 touchdowns and averages 4.7 yards per carry. He has only caught 16 passes for 117 yards receiving and one touchdown and averages 7.3 yards per catch.
Blake Corum is projected to be a second-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers will have two selections in that round and one of their needs could be a running back. There will be questions about what to do with Aaron Jones’s contract and also whether or not to re-sign A.J. Dillon.
Corum is 23 years old and he would provide even more youth to the Packers offense if they took him in the 2024 NFL Draft. Hopefully, fans are getting into general manager Brian Gutekunst’s ears about this player.

The 5’8″ 213 lbs running back would bring something different to the Packers offense. A hard-nosed runner who just hits the hole with ease.

There is no doubt at some point in the 2024 NFL Draft that the Packers will draft a running back. Patrick Taylor Jr. is the only other running back on the roster. If Aaron Jones is not brought back next season and if A.J. Dillon is not re-signed, Corum would be a nice place to start in revamping the Packers running back room.
