Whatever you think of Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur there is no denying that he has done a lot of winning since coming to the organization. While he was helped by the presence of greats like Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, winning that many games is no accident. With the win over the Rams, LaFleur hit a huge milestone.
With today’s win over the Rams, Matt LaFleur became the second fastest Packers head coach to 50 wins in team history behind only Vince Lombardi.

Green Bay Packers Matt LaFleur Hits 50 Wins
LaFleur now has 50 wins as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. He is the second fastest in franchise history to reach this mark behind only the great Vince Lombardi. He already boasts one of the best winning percentages of active coaches and is now racking up the wins as well. LaFleur has taken a lot of criticism this year but the numbers don’t lie. LaFleur has been one of the better coaches in the history of the franchise.
Did He Figure Something Out This Week?
LaFleur was vocal this week about changing things up. He changed the day of the padded practice and the team did look different this week. Aaron Jones was the focal point of the offense. The offense scored a first-half touchdown! The defense had turnovers! Even the special teams got involved in the fun with a nice return by Keisean Nixon. The team isn’t quitting and whatever LaFleur did this week, his team responded. There is still a lot to work on but today was a step in the right direction.
Can Matt LaFleur help the Packers string together some wins? They have some very winnable games on the schedule and could build on today’s success.
