The Green Bay Packers found their guy with Jordan Love in 2023.  The fourth year quarterback had to sit behind future hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers for three years before he got his chance.  When the time came, however, he seized his opportunity.

The 25-year-old quarterback had over 4,000 yards passing and more than 30 passing touchdowns in his first full season starting.  He also led his team to within three points of an NFC Championship appearance.

Not only did Packers fans take notice, so did NFL free agents.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

Xavier McKinney says Jordan Love played a “big factor” in him joining the Packers.

“You need an elite quarterback to be able to even have a chance and I believe he is an elite quarterback.”

To see that Jordan Love is having this type of impact, where star free agents are CHOOSING to play with the Packers because of him, is massive for the future of this franchise.

New running back Josh Jacobs had a similar opinion of Love:

“I was telling people when we were scouting them, from when we were playing them last year,” former Las Vegas Raiders’ running back Josh Jacobs said. “I had seen him make some throws, I’m like ‘Yeah, a lot of people can’t do it.’

Running backwards on one foot and slinging it on a dime. That kind of got me excited when I started thinking about it, and just watching film on him. Just to see the way he throws the ball effortlessly and the grit he plays with, I’m very excited to play with him.”

The Packers are a premier destination for any free agent who wants to play for a legendary franchise.  Jordan Love is just the icing on the cake.
