Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love Drops Major Message Following Vikings’ Blowout

The Green Bay Packers, led by quarterback Jordan Love, showed up with a massive Week 17 blowout win over the Minnesota Vikings to improve to 8-8 season. With the win, the Packers were able to guarantee themselves a win-and-in scenario against the Chicago Bears in Week 18. It’s a chance for redemption after the team failed to win in Week 18 last year to get into the playoffs against the Detroit Lions.

Love and company are ready for the challenge. They know what’s at stake and they want the ultimate prize of the postseason badly.

No one would have given this team a chance to compete for the playoffs just a couple of months ago. At one point this year, it looked like the Packers were headed towards a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Now, they’re viewed as a potential sleeper contender in the NFC.

Jordan Love Drops Major Message On Green Bay Packers After Vikings Blowout

Following his big performance against the Vikings, Love spoke out and dropped a major message on his team’s path to the playoffs. He stated that this is exactly what the Green Bay Packers have been aiming for this year.

“This is exactly the situation we’ve been working for all offseason, all through training camp: to get ready to put ourselves in a position to make the playoffs,” Love said, via Jason Wilde of Madison.com. “It hasn’t been easy all year. There’s been a lot of highs and lows, a lot of adversity. We didn’t know what to expect coming into the year. We didn’t have any expectations. I think everybody’s just continued to work, continued to find ways to get better, and we’re controlling our destiny right now. I’m excited to go handle business next week.”

In the first week of the season against the Bears, Love had major success for the Green Bay Packers. He shredded the Chicago defense to the tune of 245 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

While he had a big week against the Bears last time around, Love has grown so much as a quarterback since. He is a completely different player with much more confidence and a much better all-around game.

The Green Bay Packers still have a ton of work to do, there’s no doubt about that. However, they should be very happy and confident in the situation that they’re in. That confidence also comes from having Jordan Love at quarterback and playing the way he has been playing in recent weeks.
