Look: Green Bay Packers Fans Are All Making The Same Joke About Jordan Love

Jordan Love is officially the future of the Green Bay Packers.  After Aaron Rodgers announced his intentions to play for the New York Jets, the Jordan Love era officially got underway.  The Green Bay Packers have a history of having long-tenured hall-of-fame quarterbacks.  Since 1992, the Packers have had the pleasure of watching Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre start nearly every single game.  Now, with Jordan Love expected to take over, that history has fans making all the same jokes about his career.

Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre each started 15+ seasons for the Green Bay Packers.  The end of their time in Green Bay, however, was eerily similar; a trade to the New York Jets.  Green Bay Packers fans couldn’t help but see the similarities and make the same joke about Jordan Love:

New York fans might as well custom order the Jordan Love #Jets jerseys now and avoid the rush in 10-15 years, right? pic.twitter.com/cYoRXqvYSG

The 2038 trade of Jordan Love to the Jets will be great. https://t.co/F4s141c4Me

They need to get Jordan Love ready to be the Jets starting quarterback in about 15-18 years sometime. https://t.co/Kly8YoMKIp

If the Jordan Love era ends in 15-18 years with a trade to the New York Jets, that would probably mean he had a pretty successful career with the Packers.  Can the Green Bay Packers make it three hall-of-fame quarterbacks in a row?  Unlikely, but not impossible.  Jordan Love had the benefit if sitting behind one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time for three years.  He is also has the benefit of a few premium young wide receivers in Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.
