Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is going into his second season as the primary starting quarterback for the franchise. There were many questions as to whether or not Love was going to show up at the start of OTAs because of not signing a contract extension with the franchise.
Jordan Love was with the team on Tuesday and head coach Matt LaFleur was pleased to see everyone in attendance. Love is hoping that the Packers can give him a new contract before the start of the 2024 season, so it won’t become a distraction for the team.

This is a team that is going to have high expectations this season. They always had high expectations year in and year out when Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre were the starting quarterbacks. It is no different now with Love taking his game to another level. It is important for the leader of a football team to develop chemistry with his teammates on the field and off the field.

Entering this season, the Packers will have all of its wide receivers back and also tight ends. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath, and Bo Melton will most likely be the wide receivers that make the 53-man roster. It is also huge that Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft are back at the tight end position, but Kraft did not practice on Tuesday because of an injury.
Kraft hopes to be ready by training camp. Love told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic about being back with his wide receivers and tight ends by saying:
“It’s just night and day. Guys know exactly where they’re gonna be at. We have so much chemistry from last year and built-up reps … it’s definitely a big difference.”
Last year, they were just trying to figure out each other. This year, they are hoping to take it to another level for the offense. None of the wide receivers a season ago had over 1,000 yards receiving. That could very well change this season. It would be a surprise to not see at least one of the wide receivers achieve that milestone.

Jordan Love and his offensive arsenal are in a better spot at this time now than they were a season ago. The Packers hope they can be one of the best offenses in the league this season because of the young talent they have on the roster.
