Jordan Love turned in what could arguably be his best performance as a member of the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. The 25-year-old led his team to a hard-fought 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers after throwing a career-best 322 yards.
It was exactly what the Packers needed from their cornerstone quarterback, and Love delivered to lead his squad to its fourth win of the season.

As expected, however, Love refused to hog the spotlight after the win. Instead, the young quarterback spoke about how he’s seen the growth in his team over the course of the season:
“Obviously, as an offense especially, you want to keep seeing the growth,” Love said, via Jason Wilde of The Journal Times. “And that’s what we’ve been seeing.
“But the main goal is winning the game. Last week, we came up unsuccessful. Just to see how guys bounced back this week — stayed together, continued to work and grind — obviously the hard work’s going to pay off.
“It paid off today, and that’s what we’re here for, to get those wins. Obviously, the growth is huge. You love to see that. But like I’ve said before, I like where we’re going as an offense.”
The Packers have had an up-and-down start to the season, but at this point, it appears that the squad is finally delivering on the expectations the fans have had on them from the beginning.

It was Love who led the way for the offense in this one, throwing 27-of-40 completed passes for 322 yards. He had two touchdowns and zero interceptions to finish with a passer rating of 108.5.
Love will want to keep it going in their next game when the Packers battle their division rivals, the Detroit Lions, on Thursday night.
