The Green Bay Packers have a few needs this off-season. Right near the top of that list is the tight-end position. Robert Tonyan signed with the Chicago Bears, Marcedes Lewis is a pending free agent, which leaves Joshiah Deguara and Tyler Davis as the only remaining tight ends on the roster heading into 2023. The Green Bay Packers may certainly address tight-end in the 2023 Draft, however, signing a veteran could go a long way for this offense as well.
Green Bay Packers Projected To Sign Former Rival Tight End Mycole Pruitt

The Green Bay Packers are committed to the running game, and that desire is likely only stronger with the transition to Jordan Love at quarterback. Aaron Rodgers’ looming departure means Marcedes Lewis is expected to leave, though. The free agent has been a critical blocker at tight end for the Packers. MyCole Pruitt isn’t a major receiving threat but has seven touchdown catches over the last two seasons and a solid reputation as a blocker.
If Marcedes Lewis doesn’t return, Pruitt would be a near identical replacement. Pruitt is 6’2″ – 245 pounds and has established himself as one of the better blocking tight ends in the NFL. His seven touchdowns over the last two seasons proves he can be valuable in goal-to-go situations, especially with the schemes that Matt LaFleur loves to implement. Many
