The Green Bay Packers are preparing for a Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. As things stand at the moment, Malik Willis is largely expected to make another start after helping the Packers defeat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. However, Jordan Love has not been ruled out of Week 3, and he was even spotted on the field during Wednesday’s practice.
Many fans even believe that he is looking good enough to play in Week 3.

Jordan Love is practicing again with the Green Bay Packers
It can be recalled that Love suffered a knee injury very late in the Packers’ Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. That opened the door of opportunity for Willis to get his first start in Green Bay uniform last Sunday, albeit within a Packers scheme that greatly limited his passing attempts. Willis passed the ball just 14 times in the Colts game, as the Packers decided to heavily rely on their rushing attack, with running back Josh Jacobs leading the way. (Jacobs erupted for 151 rushing yards against the Colts, while Willis had 41 yards on the ground.)
The good news for the Packers is that it’s becoming clear that Love is not going to need a stint on the injured reserve and his return to game action appears to be imminent. Also, the Packers avoiding a 0-2 start in the 2024 NFL regular season makes it easier for them to decide on Love’s status. It would have been a different conversation had the Packers lost to the Colts and stayed winless. If Jordan is not going to play in Week 3, he could be ready to go in Week 4 when the Minnesota Vikings swing by Lambeau Field.
