The Green Bay Packers are currently trying to keep their playoff hopes alive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sitting at 6-8, the Packers need to win out and get just a little help elsewhere in the league to earn that final wild card spot.
However, a little over halfway through the game the Packers announced some news that will certainly make winning out much harder.
The Green Bay Packers Announce Devastating Injury Suffered Vs. The Carolina Panthers
Early in the third quarter the Packers announced that Dontayvion Wicks would miss the remainder of the game:

A Panthers defender hit Wicks as he tumbled into the end zone after he caught a 21-yard touchdown with 49 seconds remaining before halftime. Wicks was clearly uncomfortable on the sideline as the Packers returned to the field for the second half. In addition to Watson (hamstring) and Reed (toe/chest), the Packers will now be without Wicks for the remainder of the day on Sunday. There will be four wide receivers available for Green Bay: Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath, Samori Toure, and Bo Melton.
