Green Bay Packers star left tackle David Bakhtiari has nothing but respect and admiration for his teammate and new quarterback Jordan Love after his masterclass performance against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round.
Love was sensational on Sunday night, showing incredible composure for someone who is making his playoff debut as a fulltime starter. The 25-year-old quarterback wasn’t rattled at all, and he didn’t let the pressure of moment get the best of him and force him to make mistakes.
In fact, Love appeared like a battle-tested veteran, as proven by his historic perfect passer rating–making him the first player ever to do such thing in his postseason debut. He finished the game on 16-of-21 pass completion for 272 yards and three touchdowns.
After the Packers’ 48-32 upset of the Cowboys, the injured Bakhtiari quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to heap praise on Love. He called Love a “bad man,” but in a good way.
@jordan3love is a BAD Man. #GoPackGo

“Bad” couldn’t have been a more fitting word to describe what Jordan Love did to the Dallas Cowboys. Sure enough, in the eyes of Dak Prescott and Co., the Green Bay Packers QB was a huge thorn on their side.
Love also showed no mercy to Dallas, as he just kept throwing dimes to make sure they wouldn’t have any chance at a comeback.
Prescott was no match to Love, with the Cowboys signal-caller ending up with two interceptions. While Prescott also threw three touchdowns and tallied 403 yards on 41-of-60 pass completion, most of it came during garbage time when the game was out of reach.
As David Bakhtiari said, Love is a “bad” man. He played the villain role perfectly against the Cowboys, though he’s a true hero for the Packers.
Jordan Love Speaks Out on Green Bay Packers’ Win vs. Dallas Cowboys
Despite his spectacular performance, Jordan Love didn’t hoard all the credit to himself. Speaking to reporters postgame, Love highlighted that the Green Bay Packers’ victory over the Dallas Cowboys was a total team effort.
Running back Aaron Jones was definitely as phenomenal as Love with his three rushing touchdowns on the night. Furthermore, the offensive live really stepped up, giving Love plenty of time to survey the field and making sure he’s well protected after every snap.
“I think it was just a great team win tonight. All three phases were able to step up. When we’re playing complementary ball like that, I think we’re tough to beat,” Love said, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
The Packers faithful are certainly happy to have Love as their quarterback. They are already off to a great start with him leading the way, and with the attitude he’s showing, the future only looks brighter for him and the team.
