The Green Bay Packers have a new-look offense going into the 2023 season. The incredible amount of personnel turnover this off-season has made the Packers offense one of the youngest in the NFL. Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, Tucker Kraft, Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillon have an average age of 23.8. While the young and talented group has a promising future, adding a veteran couldn’t hurt. One Packers beat writer linked the Packers to a pass catcher who was just released by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Philadelphia Eagles Release Tight End Dan Arnold (NFL)

With Tuesday afternoon’s roster deadline, the Eagles will release tight end Dan Arnold, who finished the preseason 0-2-1.
Last season, Arnold caught nine passes for 135 yards in Jacksonville after Evan Engram replaced Doug Pederson.
Arnold has experience as a pass catcher, hauling in 31 of 45 targets in 2020 for 438 yards and four touchdowns. With the Panthers (three games) and Jaguars (eight games), he finished with a career-high 35 receptions in 2021.
Beat Writer Links Arnold To The Green Bay Packers (NFL)
Andy Herman of Pack-A-Day podcast had this to say about Arnold Possibly joining the Packers:
Could be a potential option in GB with their lack of numbers at TE but GB might be looking for more of a blocking TE.
A storied franchise like the Packers will not give you an easy ride when it comes to becoming the starting tight end. Nevertheless, fate has played a part, as has Musgrave’s undeniable talent. In the absence of Green Bay’s top blocking tight end and another rookie barely making an impression in the preseason, the stage is set for Musgrave to succeed.
A notable aspect of his relationship with Jordan Love is his bond with him. As Musgrave has played every snap with Love during the preseason, he has not only gained trust but also led in targets. It may be that this growing connection is a harbinger of the chemistry that we are going to see during the regular season. Musgrave will be backed up by Kraft, Arnold could be the third option. When the Packers run two tight end sets, Arnold, 28, would be a veteran cheap option to provide that third rotation.
