A former Packers tight end was arrested over the weekend
One former Packers tight end is in the news for a bad reason. According to TMZ Sports, Lance Kendricks was arrested for a DUI in California over the weekend. Per the report by TMZ Sports, police found Kendricks asleep in a vehicle with the motor running:
“Law enforcement sources tell us Kendricks eventually awoke and appeared drunk … and after conducting field sobriety tests, it was determined he had driven while intoxicated.
We’re told Kendricks took a breathalyzer … and blew over double the .08 legal limit.”
He has since posted bail.
Kendricks played in Green Bay for two years
Kendricks, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, played for the Packers during the 2017-18 seasons. He scored two touchdowns and had over 370 yards receiving in the two years he was with the Packers. Kendricks was a second-round draft pick by the St. Louis Rams in 2011. He played there until he was released by the team in 2017. The Packers then signed Kendricks to a two-year deal. Kendricks spent time with the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans following his sting with the Packers. He did not record anything on the stat sheet for the regular season in the NFL since leaving the Packers.
