There might be some trouble in paradise, well Green Bay at least. The Packers sit at 3-4 through seven games and are in unfamiliar territory in the Aaron Rodgers/Matt LaFleur era.
Following the Week 7 loss to Washington, the criticism is flying in for Green Bay including Rodgers. In addition to rival executives saying Rodgers’ body language is as worse as it’s ever been, the quarterback himself had some criticism for his teammates.
During his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday, Rodgers had some interesting things to say about the struggles. But one quote that stood out was Rodgers potentially calling out his teammates.
Here is what he had to say via Zach Kruse:
Aaron Rodgers: "Guys who are making too many mistakes, shouldn't be playing. Gotta start cutting some reps. Maybe guys who aren't playing, maybe give them a chance."

Oof.
Now there’s a few things to unpack here. Did Aaron Rodgers purposely call out his teammates? Probably not if we are being serious. Is he frustrated with the play of his teammates? Probably.
He’s also right too. There are too many mistakes being made by this team week in and week out. BUT that includes Aaron Rodgers too, as his struggles have mounted as well.
Things don’t get much easier for Green Bay in Week 8 as a date on the road with the Buffalo Bills in primetime looms.
