His tenure with the Green Bay Packers may not have included any regular season games, but Blake Bortles was with the team for a few months during an interesting time in the team’s recent history. With Aaron Rodgers in the midst of a public feud with the Packers’ front office, the team signed Bortles as an extra training camp arm and a possible backup to Jordan Love. Bortles was with the Packers from May 24 to July 27 in 2021. Green Bay released him when they decided to keep Kurt Benkert as their third-string and practice squad quarterback.

After the Packers released Bortles, he was signed by the New Orleans Saints in April of 2022. They released him, though, after they came to terms with Andy Dalton.
