NFL free agency is in full swing. The “legal tampering” period has opened and many players have already agreed to deals. One position that is seeing a lot of movement and money is the offensive line. Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins reacted to the huge free agency contracts.

Elgton Jenkins Reacts To Free Agency Contracts
Jenkins simply tweeted two emojis today. They give the vibe that he is rather disappointed in seeing how much money offensive linemen are getting. I wrote earlier that the Jenkins deal is looking better and better for the Packers but it is not looking as good for Elgton Jenkins. He signed his four-year $68 million deal in December to avoid free agency. Now, teams are giving out nearly that much in guaranteed money to free-agent offensive linemen.

David Bakhtiari Jokes On Twitter With Jenkins
Bakhtiari retweeted Jenkins with the caption “You holding out already?!?!?” Often players will hold out if they are looking for more money. Jenkins is not in a position to do so but Bakhtiari couldn’t help but joke. This is most likely one big joke from Jenkins and Bakhtiari. While I’m sure it is not great to see people get larger contracts than the one you just signed, $68 million is nothing to sneeze at. The other trick is Jenkins gets to play for a Packers team that is much more stable than some other franchises out there.
The Packers are winning free agency by having locked up Jenkins midseason. Had they not, they would have been on the hook for a lot larger contract.
